How about a new Spyderco model with a Tanto shaped blade. I bet Sal can out do Cold Steels Voyagers if he comes out with one! Maybe something Endura sized with a thick Tanto blade (like the Lum) in ATS-55? I'd buy one.....anybody else?

Grant, I take it you mean some sort of basic tanto comparable in price/value to the endura vs. the upscale lum?

Not to confuse anybody I have a Lum and think it is a fantastic knife but how about a basic model with a tanto blade,Zytel handle, reversible clip, choice of serrated or not and maybe just a little color to the handles? I think it would sell.

Correct me if I'm wrong but isnt Timberlines Special Service folder a Spyderco?

10- 4 Shootist. Timberline contracted Spyderco for its manufacture. Though this folder has a slightly elongated diamond shape cutout rather than the circular.

I think a tanto would be great. Personaly I would prefer a drop or modified point. Or maybe a reverse like the BM 940 or Kershaw "X" Task. The less conventional the better as long as utility doesn't suffer.

Personally, I'd love to see a more traditional tanto shape blade with a handle something like the Zowada in structure. Zytel would be a great option for handle material. Now if they could just make it ambidexterous! Where is that credit card?
