I think its time for me to introduce myself in the Busse sub-forum. I have been collecting(hoarding) Busse knives for a while now. I carry one every day to work and use them as often as I get a chance. Today when I got home from work I had a package waiting on me from Chuddy Bear with a ton of new pants for my collection so I figured it was time for some pictures. Ill start with a few good ones from fishing and hunting the last couple years.

Largemouth bass I caught several years ago. Still the biggest to come out of my lake.

Deer from last Thanksgiving Day. Shot only 50 yards away from where the Bass in the first picture was caught.

This picture was taken in Idaho a couple years ago while I was out there building a power plant. Only got to spend a few months out there, but it was beautiful. Would have liked to spend more time out there. Great trout fishing.

Rainbow Trout caught out of the Chattahoochee River in Atlanta, GA.

Here are my Busses with their new sheaths and also some pictures from the pork I smoked yesterday for a few friends from work.

Some of the first Johnny Walker I ever bought, yes, they are mini bottles. They were delicious.

As you can see the Chuddy Bear leather is amazing quality. I have had a few sheaths made by Chuddy Bear before and decided to get several more made for the rest of my knives. Not all of the sheaths pictured are new, but many of them are. Even the ones that have been carried and used still look new on the outside, just broken in more to their particular knife on the inside. The sheaths fit the knives perfectly and I am very excited to start carrying my Active Duty in its new pants. The crash axe sheath I am especially excited about. It fits the axe so well and it will be a pleasure to carry in the woods. It is designed for a head down carry with all sharp parts protected and magnets are used to help retain the axe if the snaps came loose. The craftsmanship on these sheaths is amazing. Thought I would share them with everyone. Hope you enjoy.

Great collection man! Thats a great looking large mouth too. There are a couple of top spots down here in Southeastern PA for bass fishing. I nailed a GORGEOUS 11'' large mouth just about a week ago and dropped my camera in the pond trying to get the shot. At least I didn't drop my SAR-8 :eek:

Nice collection you have there.:cool::thumbup:

Welcome to the forum and I love the pics.:)

Thanks for sharing.

Thanks everyone. I figured with blades, beer, liquor and outdoors the pictures would be well received. Here are a couple of my new dog Hutch. Soon to be a bird dog once he gets a little older.

Welcome! I do believe I know you from somewhere... like a familiar face. No more lurking.

Your pup wants to move to Indianapolis with me. That's a cute one!

Awesome pics and nice collection of knives. I like that Brittnay Spaniel, my buddy had one back when I was a kid growning up in Nebraska, he was a great pheasant hunter. Welcome to the board.

What do you perfer, the crash rat axe or the hatchet?

I have not gotten to use the hatchet yet because I just received it today. It seems a little small, but I can see it being very useful around the camp because of its small size and easy ability to choke up on it to make small tinder for fires. I will have to leave it as a question right now til I can get out camping with both and report back. There is no question that for anything bigger than small sticks and twigs the crash axe wins. I can't imagine cutting through anything of size with the hatchet.

JD,
