How about Anodized Male and Female Screws to go with the Stand-offs?

I know that the anodized Ti standoffs can make a Hinderer more 'colorful', but what about having matching colored screws (and the "female" attachment thingy). That way it seems that the color would be seen at any angle (instead of having to peer into the knife) if you know what I mean. Seems like a logical thing to make available don't you think? Any comments? Always thought that a full Ti Hinderer (Ti scales) with blue standoffs and screws would be a killer combo. Durability would be an issue on the screw heads though.

I agree. In the mean time I've been heat anodizing the body screws & standoff pins. I usually get a bronze that matches the bronze titanium standoffs. I'm not sure what the standoff pins are made of because they are ever so slightly magnetic but won't take an anodizing like normal Ti. It's like a very weak magnetic steel. Almost like its a mix of Ti & steel together.

The screws, receivers, standard standoffs and pivot components are 17-4PH stainless I believe.

Thanks, good to know. That would explain why it won't be picked up by a neodymium magnet but it slightly attracted to it, 17-4 PH has 3-5% nickel making it less magnetic.
