How about G-10 or carbon fiber inlay.

I like the woodies and the look of leather, but how about G-10, carbon fiber or even micarta for an inlay material. It may lessen the price and provide and little more wear resistance. Anybody else go for one?

And it would be ok with me if it was flush with the surface of the ti slabs, not raised like woodies. CRK could do it with precision and adhesion enough that it would never come out, and never take in schmeg at its edges. We'll keep hoping!

YES!!! A large classic carbon-fiber inlay would be a 'must have'...it would go so well with my small black leather-inlay!

If this is possible, please let us know!

Carbon Fiber inlays (not like the Woodies ~ but like the Leather ones) would be awesome !

I'll stick to plain titanium or a nice piece of Box Elder and the like. If you want black try Ebony!

I'd seriously have to think about buying one if it had a carbon fiber inlay flush mounted.

Sorry! I talked with Chris himself for about 20 min the other day, and he was telling me that he doesn't have the equipment at the time to produce a carbon fiber inlay in the large classic. He also said that doesn't mean he won't do it in the future. Because carbon fiber is so toxic to work with, I guess you need a good filtration system. He talked about getting one soon. So keep your hopes up, you never know. For now it seems to be natural materials he's interested in.
