I saw these last week in Toledo.

Look how wide it is in the back...that isn't a 'double edged' blade it's a 'double pointed' blade. My god if you're not careful you could take out your leg with that thing!! Or worse in that area

That looks like something out of a sci-fi kung fu flick, or the pistol blades that Ron Pearlman has in Blade II.

I'd like to see the sheath that comes with those, it'd be like a table-tennis bat!

It actually is a spanish kitchen axe.

I would not want to go home to an angry wife there :-)

i seen those on another site and they are awesome for chopping, rocker cutting herbs.
i think the boss is weary of that kind of knife. not a le and all.
what happen to the combat,in busse?

Looks a bit like an Uluu(spelling????) with a different style handle

Ronnie, that's what my first thought was. Since I'm an Alaska Native (Athabascan) I have used ulu knives for man years. They're fantastic knives. If you get one, make sure it's a quality blade, not one of the "Genuine Alaskan Authentic Guaranteed Native" blades which, if you look closely, you'll notice is made in Taiwan. Northern Knives has several really nice ones made by Bob Merry or Dancing Man, it's also possible to get really nice ones made here in the villages from old saw blades.
