How about ranking these five and giving a thought as to how to decide which to obtain first for my concise collection:

Superleaf
Manix 2
Sage 1
Sage 2
Sage 3

Spoiler - I already ordered a Superleaf, and I own a Millie, trying do decide between a Manix 2 and a Sage 3 next, wondering if the Manix 2 is close enough to the Superleaf to be made redundant. Also like that Ti on the Sage 2.

What is the Manix 2/ Para 2 "bushing system?"

I wish they didn't have so many options...

Edit: Now I just read about the Manix 2 translucent, geez!

If you are thinking about the Manix 2, do yourself the favor and get the Tan M4 one. If you find it being redundant you will be able to sell it for what you paid. In the mean time, get either the Sage 2 or 3. Both are unique enough that you should get both eventually.

Forgot to rate order of what to get:
Sprint Manix 2's
Sage 3
Sage 2
Sage1
Superleaf (because you already have)
Regular Manix 2

Bentoboxshop.com

It's their exclusive run. Like the M4 Military that Knifeworks offered and the Orange Manix 2 Cutlery Shoppe just sold out of.

Don't forget the CTS-B75P Manix sprint coming out this year as well (june-july I think), with black g10 and ffg, the m4 is slated for march. I have the blue s30V and green CTS-xhp, this will make 4 for me when I get these ones. as for order...

Sprint manix 2
sage 2
sage 3
manix 2
sage1

ETA: the b75p version is a regular sprint so you can email any dealer to pre-order, maybe a good choice if you get the m4 or regular and really like it since its farther down the road.

Thoughts on the translucent blue Manix? It looks pretty cool to me. Seems like the Manix is the only Spyderco that I might be interested in that utilizes a cbbl.

I know the translucent blue Manix has been tested for strength, but I prefer my Manix to have a full length stainless liner. It will be very light in the pocket though.

I'm just going to follow the list u gave:
1. Sage 2
2. Sage 1
3. Sage 3
4. Manix 2
5. Superleaf

I don't see why u put the Superleaf as one of ur choice when u have already ordered 1. For collection, get a manix 2. If u want a knife as a backup for ur superleaf then i say get another one =D

I just got on the list for the tan M4, Manix2 thanks for the head's up.
I'm a bit awed at all the variations on the theme of the Manix2, it must be a very popular model.

I was curious where the superleaf would fall on the spyderco subforum "regulars" list. I think I'll end up with all of the above, I'm also going for a Tenacious, I think, just because it's so attractively priced.

I'm a sucker for the Sage format, I guess. Been a fan of the whole Calypso "famiily" over the years. Own several Caly Jrs., a Caly3, and have the Caly3.5 on my to-buy list. Also have a pre-order in for the upcoming Chaparral...!!!
Not a big slipit fan, or I would have a UK model on my list as well.
