How about "Shoviron50" on ebay? Any good? He is a maker of custom knives that seem quite affordable. Anyone try one?

I'm not sure what you're actually linking to here, since it isn't loading for me.
If he is selling affordable customs they may well be kits or modifications, rather than true customs.

Sorry: removed the link. He claims to forge them himself. Also goes by "ironman" but I don't think he is "our" ironman. The Guy on ebay is from Oklahoma

Then he may be a legitimate small-time or beginner knifemaker. There ARE bargains out there on decent knives. There are bargains HERE on decent knives.
