I pressed the clothings with some beans to make small holes on the pattern

HEY!!! I put them into my kale soup. Hmmmm!!! Kale soup I beat that would make a good pattern. :D :D How about just shooting it with a automatic weapon????

I'll try with smalled beans, maybe lentils or corn :D

The tape is to cover a small cut I got working...

cool idea, what about using small bearings?

is that the salad cut?? :D ;) haha
I saw your pic on the USN forums, looks sore!

No, that was on the index finger... This is a new one  :D

The bearings won't work, as they have to be materials that I can grind and destroy easily, without raising the temperature to that level, as that much temperature will mess up the micarta.

lol sounds like you know this from experience??
mess up a batch or 2?

I have been thinking about something today, it would be sweet if you could get a honey comb effect in the micarta, I'm keeping my eye out for some crazy materials to try, but some kind of 3D honey comb would be crazy...

btw Ariel, that rope handle is nuts!! great job! I'd like to see it in person, I bet it looks cool.
