I was thinking of getting a neck knife, no specific purpose. How about some pics of neck knives (doesn't have to be your own). I just want an idea of what's out there. Please include make/model, and approximate price (I know you left coast guys pay more for production stuff than we do here in the East). Thanks for any assistance.

I only have one; a rare Larry Chew large Neck Bone; 2.75 inch CPM440V blade with carbon fiber handles.

How about this? Bud Nealy O1 Aikuchi #533

picture removed till I find a more dependable picture host.:grumpy:

Thanks for the pics guys, Please keep em coming. I'd really like to see the different types. Is that aikuchi an early model? I wasn't sure Nealy was still making the Japanese types. Love the carbon fiber on that Chew, and the grind. This is the kinda thing I was looking for. Thanks.

Well, I love my EKI Lagriffe and would show you a picture, but for some reason my computer will not let me send them out right now.:(

This is not a picture of my personal blade(I'll post one of those next to the copy I made), but I had two very similar to this, both from Scott Fulford(I stole the pic from his site). One in 440 which I still have, and one in high carbon which I sadly just had to sell.

I did not own a neck knife until I became friends with Blues. The man sure has been a bad influence on me.;)

Forged and ground from a file (unknown).

Darryl Ralph Arclite variation.

Kit Carson Damascus F4.

Rob Simonich in Talonite.

I have two neck knives that I carry occasionally.

I'm not sure if the Medallion is still being sold, but I paid around $75 for mine. The La Griffe goes for around $50. Both are well-made reliable knives that conceal exceptionally well and make good defensive backups. I prefer the Medallion for utility, but the La Griffe all right too.
