How about some new Elmax?

Just throwing it out there. With all the latest short time offereings, we have seen lots of different marriages of designs, handles and steels but nothing in elmax. I like the idea of elmax for a dedicated hunting knife. How about an "Elmandu" for an all around hunting knife and maybe some 3.5" elmax steak knives with a resoprene handles for detail work?
 
I'm with you! I started a similar thread a week or so ago. An elmax basic 4 was brought up and I have thought about it ever since. Also run of steak knives would be awesome
 
I'd be in for some Elmax but I'd like to see a little thicker stock. Like possibly .18 or up ?? Just a personal preference :-)
 
Lately I've become smitten with the idea of getting a RatManDu but I don't like coated blades so a regular one in SR101 is out. There are infidu's out there but I haven't run across one with the handles I want. Seems to me that an Elmandu should totally round out its production options.
 
I could go for a Elmax capeing knife. Thin and pointy similar to a Boney Active Duty, but give it a rounded pommel like the Rodent Solution.

I could go for one of these in .125" thick Elmax. Call it the MAX Solution XL :)
