How about some new Paklites?

I own two Paklites, one black the other silver. I would own more but they are sold out every place I've looked. I don't have any of the capers yet.

To be perfectly honest the blade shapes miss their mark ever so slightly. I still think they are great little knives and want more. I'll own both black and silver capers when I can find them local. I would like to see a true drop point and a clip point too. Maybe a 4" version of both, which would be perfect for deer hunting or a kitchen. A 3" or 3.5" "bird and trout" would be perfect, which is what I use most for processing deer and cleaning fish.

I'm going to stock up on paracord while I wait for the new blade styles to come out. I may even buy a couple more paklites amd make handles for them just for something to do. I think half the fun in owning these is putting little custom touches on the knives.

The next trend I've noticed is pocket fixed blade carry, something I've thought about for years. The pacs almost fit the bill, but the sheath is a little thick to slip in the pocket.

If Santa Buck is real these should be out by christmas time. ;)

I would also like to see a drop point offered. I just used my Caper to cut up my steak my wonderful wife made. They are great little knives.

If Buck offered a kydex neck sheath instead of the nylon belt sheath they would sell a million of them.

Kydex neck sheath with belt carry option and a steel upgrade would make it perfect.

It might just give the Izula a run for its money.

I agree 100%. A Paklite Wharne would be sick, as would a Paklite Spearpoint. I agree the sheath sucks-I'll do a review on Marion David Poff's Paklite Skinner sheath in a few days.

I drew out about 10 Paklite designs last night, I'll take a picture of the thumbnails and upload them momentarily.

I'm with all of you, hope they can make the best of this market, lots of room there if they can do so!

EDCs, B&Ts, trail companions, oh my! it's a picture of scrap paper that's been in the bottom of my school bag, so bear with me. What do you think?

The one on the far right at the top is closer to what I had in mind. I would buy that one, but I would like a narrower blade from back to the edge. Maybe something in the 3/4" range with your handle design.

I did see they made (maybe still do) a design almost exactly that I am looking for. The handle was pretty much filled though so it would limit how you para wrapped it. The knife isn't listed as a Paklite and I've never seen one for sell. I'll have to go to their website to see if I can find it there.

Looks like they call it the Mayo and it has a price tag of $112. If the blade was a tad longer and the handle more open like the PakLites it might be perfect.

I also seen a boning knife while I was there that would make a great PakLite. :)
