I do not know the makers. I have others like the matulis and have used them on the farm for 15+ years. I have others like the long one and it is a great piece. These have been sold through arnis schools for years. The Kris Cutlery set, an awesome set. The kujang is Valiant co.(very trustworthy). These are good pieces. I have worked out with all of them for years. David
