Hello Friends abroad,
I am the member of polish knive community, and I read Your bladeforum from time to time. I am curious what knive is the most desirable in Your community. Microtech Socom plain version probably is the most wanted one at the Poland.

Certainly the Sebenza is held as a benchmark of quality. But, I'm not certain that it is the most desired knife.

I'm not certain that I could identify a single knife that is "most desired". There are so many different people using their knives for different purposes, so they want different features. I don't think that any one blade design can ever be the most desired.

Well said

Welcome to the bladeforums. Glad you joined us. For me the most desired knife is the one I want next. :) I also think that for a folder, the one everyone wants is a Sebenza, or William Henry. In the fixed blades, Busse seems to hold the title. But I never met a knife that I did not like, at least for a little while. Welcome, and may you have a Dobry wieczór.

DavidZ! You speak polish! It is interesting experience to see polish words ona US bladeforum. We like Sebenza and William Henry too, but few polish knifelovers could afford to buy those knives because of it's price. Microtech is a little bit cheaper and we desire it because there is almost immpossible to buy it. Every shop is "out of stock"

Most desired by people who frequent this and other knife forums? Or people in the U.S. in general?

Reeves and Busses have their fans in the forums. But if you step out into the rest of the world it's likely to be a product by Buck or Case.

+1:thumbup:Took the words right out of my mouth:D

Welcome Grucha2004:)

Grucha2004 - I am of Polish descent, but unfortunately do not speak the language. I did in my preschool years, but it has long since left me, except for a few phrases. My grandparents came from the "old country". Enjoy Bladeforums, and keep saving for the knife that you want. What are the most sought after Polish, or Europeon knives that people want??
Dave.

I can say "I like your butt" in Polish
Hmm, what does it means "I like Your butt" Buhbuhbonky? I don't know this word, and it has a lot of meanings in the dictionary

David, You are nice guy! A half-countryman of mine. Well, I don't understand Your sentence "sought after". Shit, I really have to visit Your webside frequently to improve language skill

Sought after = The ones that you want, or look for.
Dave.

thank You Dave for explaining, so, there are few members of our community who collect limited editions, or extremly expensive knives. But many of us seek for discontinued production knives like microtech (socom especially),or manix. The most popular and beloved is military model by spyderco and CRKT M21.
There was about two years ago when M21 becamed popular, and we bought thousends of this model in Josh Burbank's shop. Hehe, I remember he didn't know what is going on! He thought there was some private security group in the poland which recomended this knive to everybody!

I'm going to have to agree on the Sebenza, it's my number 1. And I know how to say "give me a beer" (thy meer peevo) in Polish and have a friend in Gdansk.

David, I give You the link to our polish custom knivemakers. There are no production knives in our country I'm afraid.

Scars, You maked me laugh, hehe. Yes, it sounds just like that "thy meer peevo". I write You this sentence in polish - "daj mi piwo". Well, Gdansk is beautyful place, it is my favourite city in Poland. Unfortunately I know Your country just from tv, never been to US. You have better standart of living, but don't have such a lot beautiful woomen like we have at our place! But on the other hand You have Sebenza!

Because having never visited Poland, I must accept your word about Polish women compared to US, but there are enough beautiful ones here to keep me interested. I am married to one :), but don't have a Sebenza :( .
I am also of Polish descent from my father, who immigrated here from Warsaw (by way of Gdansk), but I know only enough of his native language to embarass myself if I try to to speak it. Sometimes I find English to be a challenge :D .
