we get some takers on a 16.5 WWII with a fuller in it? :D
if i can have a "perfect khuk" that'd be it (if you want to get fancy.. make ita double fuller) ;)

i guess it will be something of myth and legend... never gonna get UB to endorse a blade like that... awe well :(
 
I've only seen one 16.5" WWII (actually 17" even), which is the Bura-made example UB sent me recently. It has major fullers in it which was a surprise because I didn't notice fullers in the website pictures. Maybe Uncle Bill has what you're looking for in stock. It wouldn't hurt to ask.

This is a very slick khuk, and out-chops my Chiruwa AK of similar length but considerably more weight. The edge profile is a bit thinner though, so I doubt it would hold up as well as the Chiruwa after alot of heavy hitting.
 
After running HI as long as he has and turning 80 this past birthday he is taking some well earned time off to visit family in Kansas as he rightfuly should before it is too late.

I had a question for him too but it can waite till he is back and rested up.:)
 
Actually, I believe he just turned 70. Lets not age the poor man any faster than necessary! ;) The well deserved rest part is certainly accurate though.

Cliff, my Bura made 16.5" WWII also has fullers. They really are cool aren't they?:cool:

Snarlin Stef, talk to Uncle Bill when he gets back and see if he has any Bura made WWIIs with fullers. I really like the 16.5" WWIIs and when mine came with fullers, that was just icing on the cake.:D
 
I bothered Uncle Bill for a while about a Bura made 16.5 inch WWII.

It arrived with slight fullers and balances wonderfully. :)

Fullers were kinda absent from my Kumar's WWII though.

I think most of Bura's work has fullers...
