How accurate are CRK's time quotes?

I submitted an order for a small micarta insigno with blue hardware directly with CRK back in November. I was told that there was a six-month waiting list for all inlay models. In your experience, how accurate are their quotes?
 
Typically, they are worst case scenarios..Likely won't go past the 6-month date...At least, that is my experience with their timeframes.
 
Well how's that for timing. Just received a call from CRK asking if they can charge my card!!! They said the knife will be ready to ship within 4 weeks. If all goes well, I will be receiving my knife at the 14 week mark, or approximately 3 and half months into the 6 month quote. Not too shabby if you ask ne
 
Not bad at all! In my experience they are very good about coming in at or before a promised time:)
