how are knives made at the Golden plant?

I am curious about how the knives are made and put together at the Spyderco plant. Do they have several people that each have a specific job (assembly line)? Does one person put the knives together? Are the finished parts ordered from other places and put together at the plant or are they made there? I would like to know more about the process. How many knives at a time are made?

We have a manufacturing department....
an assembly department..not a line..they have a nice cozy room...(they are NUTS in there) a finishing crew (scary bunch, but gosh they're fun...), and our production/quality control guys and gals...oh, and an engraver.
Add to that the office folks, Research and Development, Legal, Vince (engineering), marketing and sales, a great shipping department, and the repair guys we love dearly. Oh, and a guy named Sal that hangs around pretty frequently.

Not too technical of an answer, I know....but I hope it helps a little. I will get some better answers for your specific questions.
