This is the big difference between SR-101 and Infi. The SR-101 swamprat uses doesnt have any particular amount of rust resistance, treat it like you would any normal high carbon steel. A bit of vegetable or mineral oil on the edge, and if you aren't cutting food with it then use whatever you want on the bare metal of the edge. If the knife gets used regularly during the trip you probably won't have anything to worry about as cutting will burnish any corrosion off the edge before it has a chance to sink its teeth in. If in the event you wade around in saltwater while the knife is on your person then if possible protect it before use with a light film of oil and then afterwards rinse with fresh water, dry before putting away. Speaking of that, dont' put them back into a sheath that's made of cordura or leather that's soaking with saltwater, that's just a no-no.
Any rust you get on the SR-101 rats is likely to be merely cosmetic edge blemishing and some dulling. The Bog Dog however is a large piece of uncoated D-2. D-2 pits when it rusts, in regular use this isn't really an issue as long as the blade is kept clean, but if you're near saltwater there may be surface rust and some pitting unless the blade is protected.
