How are Spydercos Put Together?

Just wondering, because I have seen several Spydercos that have no screws, only rounded off rivets or something. Are they capable of being disassembled? How does Spyderco take them apart for repairs? Heck, even a couple of Stainless models I've looked at don't show any screws or rivets or bolts at all. How are these put together? Anyone had any problems with them coming apart. Sorry for the dumb questions, but I haven't carried a Spyderco in years, and that was a small Delica, so I'm kind of new to the higher quality lines they offer today.

I think the SS is riveted, and then machined to the point that only under careful inspection you'd find the rivets.

Unless you took a chisel and drove it between the liners the SS models will never come apart on you during normal use.

Some have screws but! NONE are ever supposed to be taken apart, doing that voids your warranty. Ron

As my forespeakers said, the SS models are riveted and are not supposed to be dismantled.
However, if you want to know if something is riveted, even if it has that solid one piece look, here's a tip:
Take the metal object and put it into a frying pan (without oil ;)) and heat it for a few seconds / minutes depending on the object and the stove. Then take the object and rub it with some toothpaste - carefully not to burn yourself. The toothpaste will mark the joints or whatever irregularities in the metal.
Be warned though that you may damage the object by doing this.

Didn't you hear that they have the Samuri crafstman beat them out of one piece of steel?;)

I would not worry about partialy ground off rivtes (ground flat with the handle) coming loose.
