How are the pins on these balisongs?

Can someone tell how are the pins on the Frost Cutlery An the Taylor G971 on this page:

Do you guys think I should buy either of those knifes? Is it a good price? and are they strong? Thanks.

old school Jap(n) balis are pretty good pinswise.. if I had a choice I woudl go for the golden dragons.. but if you want to collect the others seem fine.. it's a good market price.

how come the golden dragon and not the G971? what are the preferable features of the dragon?

Probably the best reason is solid milled brass handles on the golden dragon, verses "sandwitched" slabs of stainless in the G971.

The pins on both are pretty descent.

And the prices that Vintedge are charging are pretty descent too, for out of production balis.
