Really, they any good? Thinkin' about a Black Bone Pocket Worn Sowbelly... is it really worth $50?

I think its wise to go somewhere to buy it where you can handle and examine them. I have several Case knives, and recently have been lucky to get good examples. From time to time people run into knives with below average fit and finish. Case seems to be a bit spotty on QC, but when you find a good one, its very good.

At the last show here I bought just the very knife you are thinking of and its probably the most well put together Case I have. It would be very difficult to find fault on this knife....even the factory edges were very good.

Its a pretty good size folder, and very hand-filling. Strong as any slip-joint can be.

Hmm...

how's Case customer service?

thanks for the nice pic Richard, what's the link to your knife photos site?

YC, I really dont know how the service from them is. I dont have any that are bad enough for me to bother sending them in. I have one that has a weak back spring, but its no big deal to me. Most of the problems I myself have had were terrible burrs left on not-so-sharp factory edges. I just resharpen them how I want them. You might how over to knifeforums where Case has a forum. Shirley seems to be pretty good about answering questions.
