Hi guys. Im a big kersaw fan, i just love collecting their knives. And i was just wondering if any of you have the ripcord. I finaly found one in a store (Sportsmans factory outlet). Btw if you like kershaw you need to check out that place they have a ton of kershaw knives. and its about the only knife brand they had. NICE kershaws too. Anyway, back to the question. How are the kershaw ripcords? do you like yours or is it just too unpractical? What about blade play? dos it have blade play? thanks for your help guys.

How are those Kershaw ripcords?

I've only seen one for sale in person once. I believe it was at the Wholesale Sports in Vancouver WA or whatever our Sportsmans Warehouses became. The 2 other stores in this area didn't have them that I remember as they can sell automatics in Oregon. They have a few Benchmade autos and Gerbers. I don't ever remember them having a Breakout or Rogue or I would have picked one up and the one Rogue I've seen around here was serrated. I wish I'd picked up a few plain edge breakouts in various colors while they could still be found online.
Anyway, back to the question for me.. I don't know that many people have them. I'd love to hear your thoughts on it. I've always thought it was an interesting but impractical design where the need was filled much better by assist or full auto except for the ability to retract the blade. If you really needed it, it looks like a much better value than say a Benchmade Infidel even if it requires the little sheath thing to slide the blade in and out.
