I have no experience with this material, but it looks good from what I have seen and read.
I am planning a batch of 3" lightweight fixed M390 edcs and thought I might give it a try.
I'm using Terro-Tuf and like it so far. However I can't seem to find the website that mentioned how tough this material is. Terro-Tuf was rated as stronger than Micarta or G10. If anyone could post a link it would very much appreciated...
I’m interested in this. The Biryukov that arrived a week or so ago has inlays in the titanium on both sides. Owning knives with smooth Micarta, canvas Micarta, and carbon fiber, this one is none of that. You can see the cross hatched fibers within the material. It feels substantial and tough. It feels closer to smooth Micarta but it’s definitely not the same material. It is not G10. Wonder if a Russian builder would be using this Terro-Tuff material?
