didnt use the 16 for anything but he is my drinking partner...i call him "The Prince". Figure the 9 is "the king"..so i call my 7 "the queen", and well.. 9+7 makes a 16 so he must be the prince!!

anyway lets see or hear how you intend on spending your labor day weekend...

The wife and I are headed to the cabin this weekend. Probably rain all weekend, and be hot and muggy, but, we'll be at the cabin. :D

im waiting for cooler weather do get out like that. seeing others post on here they are going out to the woods, makes me jealous, but my wife is bitchy enough with out the bugs and heat, so cooler weather it is for me..
what part of illinois are you warrior? spent a few years in hell up there aka. Decatur.

Well if it don't rain us out I'm going shooting. I get to scratch one off the bucket list. Berrett 50 that's all

Grumble, grumble, grumble.....

Gotta work overnights Thu, Fri & Sat .

But, I'm planning on a BBQ at my mom's place with all three of my brothers and the nieces and nephew too on Monday.

well, if tonight counts, then it's a 10oz swordfish steak, half a guinness, and some blade polishing.
If Saturday starts the weekend, then it's making yogurt, running errands, packing, and knife night.
Then I fly to San Juan and get to spend the actual holiday with a hotel reservation and no work arriving 'til Tuesday. :-)

Were probably just staying in town. Weather looks hot and humid with a pretty good chance of rain. The city is kinda cool when most folks have left for the long weekend.

Too hot to hike or camp around here. May get some time on the water and some work done on a few gear projects.

Going up to the trees and moss. Bought an alox Victorinox Farmer to start it off. Nice enough little knife but it is a slight let down. After all the hype over these alox SAK's I kind of expected it to make coffee in the morning and give me a groin massage. Oh well, another toy for the box.

Pull weeds, cut brush, cut trees, water the garden, wash the dogs, work on my knife/ax throwing range, work on refurbing a Plumb 1917 bolo that needs TLC. Needs a new handle on the left side and some fool painted the whole thing with silver/aluminum. At least it still has the original handle mounting screws.

When I get of work Friday, come home, fill a whiskey glass with ice.
Fill said glass with whiskey, shower, and when I'm dried of, drink the whiskey...
And then we'll just have to see if I fall asleep or manage to keep the head of the household
Company throughout dinner and a movie on the couch, lol...
