How are ZT 200's to open

I am considering adding a ZT 200 to the stash, I'm just curious how it is to open. I realize it is a manual, but ZT's description says the pivot is adjustable for tightness--paraphrasing here, but I would like to know how smooth--easy it is to open.

Thanks for any input--suggestions.

The one I had was a decent flipper. The blade was heavy, so the action was a little sluggish. I could flip it without wrist action, but it took a strong finger pull to get it. For a large manual flipper on washers, I thought it was very nice. Been thinking about getting a replacement because I was pleasantly surprised by the 200.

I do believe the one you had is now in my hands- and to the OP, the flipping action has only gotten better since I received it! No wrist flick required for me at all.

It's a whole lotta knife for the money and mine came out of the box a flipping fool. For such a heavy blade it's impressive. No wrist action needed.

Mine flips like a dream. Took a few days to smoothup a bit but afterwards it was golden. Once that big blade starts a moving, it glides on air! Its a great big half pound of a knife and for the price it can't be beat.

Mine flips quite well, and is smooth to open with the thumbstuds. I already owned other more expensive ZT folders when I ordered the 0200 and didn't think I'd like it as much since the others had better steel, fancy features, etc. However, it's one of my two favourite and more used ZTs (together with the 0550).

Nice, solid knife.

The one I have flips very well and smooth as well. I wish the detent was a little stronger though.

I love my 0200 (now that I sanded down the scales). Opens easily - flipper or thumbstud (I'm old school, though, and tend to use the thumbstud more)

Once broken in, mine became the "fool everyone into swearing its on bearings" crazy smooth flipper. A lot of knife for the price and unique ergonomics. It just molds the hand.

I got mine second hand. It flipped ok...
After a pivot area and washer polish it is very smooth and fast.

It's made to just feel right in the hand.
Very nice knife for the price!

Flips fast and easy. Smooth, too. Like crazy smooth. Locks up in the same spot every single time regardless of how fast you open it. It's a fantastic knife.

What is doesn't ? There is some evil sorcery afoot here. I love the way mine "flips" open.

I have the Satin finish Knifeworks version and it flips open smoother than my ball bearing folders.
