How big is the Victorinox SAK Rusback?

I'm thinking of buying it and attaching my keys to it. If anyone has any other good Victorinox for that purpose please give me your opinion.

I need to know if it will be cumbersome and also the blade length on it. Is it 2 layers or 3?

Thanks.

Do you mean the Rucksack? If you do it is too big for keychain carry, IMO. The blade length is close to 4 inches and it is pretty thick.

Thanks. I couldn't remember if it was the Rucksack or Rusback.

Anyone have any SAK recommendation for key chain? Right now my key chain is pretty big (I have a 5" kubotan 1/2" diameter attached) and it feels fine for me.

I want to replace the Kubotan with a SAK so any recommendations?

I'm leaning towards the Compact Knife by Victorinox.

It seems designed for keychain use. Any one have one and can tell me how it fits?

The Compact measures 3.6" long by 1.0" wide by 0.5" thick. It is, as the name implies, one of the most compact of the full-sized Vics, but it does offer a good selection of tools.

I prefer much smaller tools on my keychain, but if you don't mind a kubotan the Compact will probably suit you fine.

If you want to explore the various SAK configurations more thoroughly check out the Swiss Army Knife Selector.
