How big of a deal is galvanic corrosion on fishing lures?

I am putting together some pieces where I need to join stainless steel and plated carbon steel. I have aluminum pop rivets and was planning on using nail polish and/or JB Weld as a coat to keep the water away from the said joint. If so treated and if wiped off after freshwater use, should I still expect corrosion?

Yes, I could go get some SS rivets, but I already have 1,080,373 aluminum ones, give or take.

Thanks
