My Horns are headed to Pasadena on the 7th. What a nightmare of a game. We squeaked by. But that's what greatness is all about, right?

Freakin' Aggies surprised me last week too. Suckers can't even build and contain a decent bonfire ;) and yet it seemed like it took forever for our good guys to make em stay dead :eek: :eek:

Robbed? How? BTW, I don't think the bonfire joke is funny, but man, what a game that was with A&M. Can't believe how great their quarterback played. Watch out next year.
 
No offense to your Horns, but I was hoping for an upset. I would have loved to see the fight/argument for who played Bama. TCU?

I only caught part of the game but Bama really seemed to manhandle dem Gators.
 
I like Texas, and am glad they won, so Bama can play them. If they play Alabama like they played Nebraska, or Alabama plays them like they did Florida, Texas will be lucky to get a first down.
I doubt either will happen, and it should be a great game. Alabama may have nowhere to go but down after playing the most complete game ever for an Alabama team, and Texas should be fired up after that near-miss. I tend to be objective(ROLL TIDE!!!...well, fairly objective), and the prospect of playing Texas, assuming Bama made it that far, was actually kind of scary until this weekend. It's hard to be all that apprehensive after watching the #1 ranked offense and defense get handed a total beatdown, though.
They're both due, so may the better team win!


gazz, I'd kind of liked to see Boise State get a shot. I was only peripherally aware of them until a few years ago, but the '07 Fiesta Bowl where they beat Oklahoma was one of my all-time favorite games. I even bought the DVD:rolleyes:

TCU will face the Gators, that will be a good measuring stick. :D
 
Glad Texas managed to get the win. I wanted them in Pasadena.

Unfortunately, for them, that was their last celebration of the season. Party's over 'horns. Bama's gonna lay the wood to them.
