 Congrats to the Giants for controlling the Patriots' offense en route to their 17 - 14 Superbowl XLII win. Brady had absolutely no defense against the Giants and was thoroughly roughed up for most of the game.

All-in-all, one of the best Superbowl games I've seen.

:D

Brady sucked.

Worst. Game. Ever.

Great game! One of the top three of all time, IMO. Congratulations Giants!

18-1 isn't too bad Pats fans. :D

What?!?! Worst game ever!! That was a fantastic game!! Even though it wasn't high scoring.

Brady did suck. I'm so happy about that. Dynasty my butt!!!

Worst game if you were expecting normal Patriot game play. They did indeed lose the game. Brady sucked, his protection broke down, and they passed on manning multiple times. It was their game to lose, and lose they did.

It was a nail biter, no doubt. I hope Brady feels horrible, because Eli simply out threw him, out played him, and actually wanted it more.

Congrats to the Giants and Giants fans!

Last year it was Payton...This year it was Eli...The Manning brothers rule!...

Exciting game, but: any team that follows a gameplan that allows the quarterback to get sacked that many times, does NOT deserve to win any game, Superbowl or not. I can't believe the Patriots had an undefeated season, and then played as badly as they did.

Da Mannings Rule. 'Nuff said.

thx - cpr

I am utterly disgusted at the performance of the Pats tonight!! That was horrid!!

Watching the so-called "experts" eating crow after the game was priceless! I thought Aikman was going to choke a few times, although Emmitt Smith had some class about him, and seemed pretty genuine in his praise. God, I LOVE watching former Cowboy players squirm when they have to say something good about the Giants. It's almost as good as watching Dallas get beat in their own house by da G-men. Can you tell I hate the Cowgirls?
Oh, and by the way:
GIANTS! GIANTS! GIANTS! woooooot!

I love it when a sporting contest is decided by a desperate, never-say-die, off the canvas effort. That pass by Manning to Toomer (? I think...) was a great example of that.

I sat in my little shack on the SW coast of Western Australia and watched the whole game on our public broadcaster - Loved it. Best superbowl I've seen.

Neither can I.

Ditto !

Heck yea many , many folks ate a plateful after that game. All the naysayers and fanboys.
Irritates me to see all these "fans" come out of the woodwork all of a sudden , like in the last month or so I've seen lots of Pats stickers on cars and trucks, just like all the Red Sox or Yankees stickers that come out when those teams were doing good.
A true fan supports his/her team no matter how bad they do.
For example my buddy Drew is a die hard Browns fan and always shows it.:D and even they did not have too bad a season.

Anyways , grats to the Giants and their fans on a game well played.

Yeah, congrats to the Giants. Their defense did a very good job. After that td by Moss I thought the Pats made it.

Brady sucked, Manning (and the rest of the giants) just seemed to want it more. Know what I mean? Their enthusiasm, the look in their eyes and stuff. Like when Manning managed to escape when 2 Pats were nearly on him and he threw the pass during their last drive.

Well I'm not a Giants fan, I had liked the Gaytriots to win (I expected more from "the best offense of the NFL history") but it was fun anyways :D

What I loved most was that the highest scoring, record-setting New England Patriots were held to their lowest point total in a Superbowl. Despite all their stars this team was less effective offensively than the upstarts who beat the Rams.

That, in a nutshell, sums it up right there. The Patriots offensive line let the Giants get to Brady wwaaaaaay too much. Frankly, I'm surprised Brady didn't get injured early, he was hit so many times.
