I'v had my emerson for a fewm onths now and I usually carry it in my jean pocket and I noticed that a lot of dust and lint has gotten caught between the handle and screw holding the knife together.
What can I use to clean and remove the lint accumulated?
Are there any lubricant I can use to maintain it?
There is also lint and dust on the blade itself. What can I use to clean that?
Are there any folding knife maintenance guides out there?
Thanks.

you can try canned air.

or take it apart. pretty easy, then oil the bushings before you reassemble.

take out the pivot screw and the blade and bushings will come out. you can take the screws out of the scales and clean the liners if you like as well.

Emerson knives are pretty easy to disassemble and clean...I do it once in awhile....

i use a old toothbrush with a small drop of dishwashing detergent to clean mine, rinse well in HOT water, dry off well, and oil the blade and action with tuffglide .........works for me.
