How can I find out when/where the soonest/closest blade show to me is?

The problem is that, if my understanding is correct, these things can be put together by nearly anyone, so it's not just like following the scheduel of one group. If that's the case, then I'd think that the only way to be aware of all of them in your area would be to let their advertising find you... but, until I began posting here, I was completely unaware that these events took place with any regularity whatsoever. I had never heard one advertised or heard of a person going to one, so I just sort of assumed they only happen in more populated areas.

By the way, I live in about the middle of Vermont.
