Recently I have seen some pretty cool pics of blades that have some nice file work done to the top of them. How could I go about doing this to a few of my knives? Thanks

Get a Dremel moto tool with a flex shaft and a couple different sizes of abrasive discs, some call em cut off discs, a pair of leather gloves, a respirator, and a good face shiled. Then just use a sharpy to lay out the carving pattern and knock yourself out. Just don't do something stupid like I did once and carve the tang end of a folder where the blade rubs the spring!!!

Always think of your fellow knife makers as partners in the search for the perfect blade, not as people trying to compete with you and your work!

WOW!!! I would like to thank everyone for there advice... It seems like something I will have to practice at for a while be for I try it on some of my own knives, I'll probably search for someone to do a few of mine while I learn...Thanks

Glocko, try a piece of mild steel bar for practice, it's cheap and it's inexpensive.
