Hello....am I as a free member able to post a pic of a hatchet I've found and maybe get some help on finding out what it is and where it might have come from??

Yes, you can post pictures as a registered member by uploading them to a web hosting site and linking to them. There are a number of free image hosting sites available.

Once the picture is uploaded to the hosting site, copy the web address of the picture (must end in .jpg or .png). Then go to your BF post. Click the image tool on the tool bar (between the link tool and the smilie tool). You will get a popup. Select the LINK option. Paste the picture address into the window and click INSERT.

Just in case you aren't techy like I kinda still am not :confused: - I've found that the best and easiest hosting site is imgur.com - it's free. :thumbsup:

Imgur has become a bit difficult for me to navigate, so I don't usually recommend it. But if you do manage to figure out how to post a picture, they do provide BB code links. If using those, Just paste the BB code into the text of the post, the picture tool won't be needed.

It was a huge enough accomplishment for me to figure out imgur. If that hosting site ever goes down ... I'm Effed!!! This old dog doesn't adapt well to change ... except for changing the knives that I have, the TV channel or what I eat. ;)
