I have been trying to not have the quotes in my replies. I cannot seem to stop them.
I also need to know how to delete posts. I was trying things to NOT have the quotes in my posts and ended up having 3 posts in the contest thread, WHICH WILL DISQUALIFY ME, but I cannot delete the posts.

You cannot delete posts.
I don't remember if editing is available to all subscription levels...but editing/removing the content of a post is the closest thing to deleting.
If you don't want quotes to appear in your post, don't use the quote button. If you do it by mistake, simply delete the quote before you submit (or edit it out after, assuming that option is available to you.

Ah - I see what you're doing... clicking the Reply button quotes the post to which you are replying (I never use that button).
You can see the quoted text - just remove it if you don't want it there. Or skip that step entirely, and scroll down to the post box instead of replying to a specific post.

Ok, i’ll Stop using the reply. I’ll check the end of the post because deleting all that quote takes a long time.
So there’s no way I can delete my post so I am going to get banned from next week’s contest?

There's no way you can delete the posts. You can edit them out so there is no content.

A mod may be able to remove them. Click the report button (little triangle at the bottom left of each post) and ask that they be removed. It's pretty clear that they were posted in error and not an attempt to pad your chances so hopefully you're good to go.

Clicking Reply will reply direct to the post of which you clicked and include their quote in your post. If you click the +Quote button (left of reply) it will add it to a quote list and allows you to quote multiple posts at once.

Scroll down to the bottom of each page of a thread and you'll have a reply box. Using this to post will allow you to post without any quotes. If you click the +Quote button, this is also the place where you will see a blue Add Quote button to allow you to select the posts you clicked and add them to your posts.

deleting all that quote takes a long time.
Not really. If you're working from your phone, do a long press, click select all, then delete. If using a desktop, highlight and backspace or delete. Gone.
Still, it's easier not to put it there in the first place.
