How can you paracord wrap an ESEE Izula without having a knot hanging off the end?

Most of the videos I've seen show the people tying off a knot on the end, what's the best way to tuck the ends in so I don't have a knot on one end?

You might be able to tuck it under and hit with a lighter and press it down. I've finished some knots that way myself.

That's what I was thinking about doing. I might end up doing the wrap to the very end of the handle, and then tucking he knot into the hole under the the weave and then doing the lighter and push thing.

Sorry for the kind of crappy pic, but it's all I have on my phone. This wrap has been in place for years with no issues.

I tuck it in and use a small drop of CA glue (super glue) to hold it in place. It's easier to glue it than to burn/melt it...

Thanks for the pic @Apophis. That's much like what I have in mind to do.

@Phil,

That's also a good idea.

I don't really remember how I did it, but I like the extra cord on the right side of the knife...It makes it much more comfortable in hand.

Thanks for all the ideas! I was thinking I could possibly use a strand of too-long paracord to wrap it, and run the remains through the weave of the handle so it would be really secure, and then burning/gluing the ends.

I recently bought an Izula from a forum member and it came wrapped really nicely. Looks like he melted and pressed the ends instead of making a knot
