Hey guys,

I bought an orange spyderco military when it was a sprint run. RIght now, it's a normal knife in 2010's line up.
How can you tell the difference between a sprint run and the 2010 edition?

No difference because the orange millie is now a normal production model. In other words it was so in demand that spyderco deiced to make it regular production.

ok, too bad there's no other way to distinguish. I thought it might have added to the collecting value.

I always throw away the boxes :) no use for them

Zyhano, a little tip, if you plan the maximize on collectability, KEEP THE BOXES.

Josh and rycen got it right. There are no Sprint run orange Military's. They're all a regular production item. This topic has been brought up many times. A Sprint run orange Millie does not exist.

Quoted from someone at spyderco

The term sprint run was mistakenly used. Long story short, it was an exceedingly popular model. The original thought was to make 600 and see how they were received. Needless to say, they were received very well. We try our best to listen to our customers. So, we made more. It is not produced in the same quantity as our standard Millies, but it is considered a stock model in the line.

My orange millie has a date code of GI so it was made in July last year i think it was part of the original 600

Unless your orange Millie has a CC# collectors variant stamp on the blade it is like every other orange Millie still being made.

The original 600 sprint means nothing now unless you want to claim your knife is older.

seems like you have one of those <normal sprint run orange millies>, just like the rest of us ;)
