How Coldsteel XHP stack up to their 3V?

How XHP vs 3V in your test? I would like to hear to real life test not some random hypothesis judging from alloy composition...
 
Those are two completely different steels with very different characteristics.
 
3V is going to give you a whole lot more toughness, and CTS XHP will have better corrosion resistance. I'm not sure about edge retention, although I suspect 3V might have the edge. I've only used Cold Steel's CTS XHP, and it is some really good stuff. A real all-around steel and plenty durable. The 3V I've used was not Cold Steel's, but it is an amazing steel in its own right.
