How come I can't post threads or attatchments?

how come I ain't allowed to post threads or attachments? I joined up hoping to do some knife trading? I notice everyone else gets to. Just wandering.
 
You can't attach images to posts or start threads in the "For Sale" forums because those things are reserved for paid memberships (Gold and up to sell).

You can include images hosted elsewhere (photobucket, etc.) though and you should be able to start threads in the trade forums.
 
Bladeforums has a system of paid memberships that allow a sliding scale of privileges. See http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/payments.php and also read the FAQ at http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/faq.php

As an unpaid member (Registered User) you are welcome to read most forums and post in them. You are welcome to read in the Exchange and offer to buy from members posting sales. But the only Exchange forums you can start a thread in are the Want to Buy and Trade forums.

Paid members also have access to a system for downloading attachments directly from their own computers. But you don't need it, and in fact I myself don't use it. I download to a photo hosting site which provides me with a URL for each picture. I then paste that URL into a Bladeforums post.

I read the faq and rules but I didn't comprehend it near as well as you guys just explained it. I thought I had said something wrong or something, but I have only posted a few replys or whatever. As soon as I get my business all caught up and back on track(been overseas helping our wonderful country make the world a safer place) I will for sure become a paying member. Thanks Again.
