How come no double cut?

The price margin between the crinkle coat and satin is HUGE!

I would love satin but can't afford it. Double cut would have been my first choice. I don't really want white, tan, or green....maybe sage or black.

Why offer multiple color choices, which I imagine would drive up the supply cost? While offering one coating (black) and DC and Satin would seem to keep cost down. Not having to keep green, white, tan, and sage powder coating in stock?

I think if they had double cut, that it would have the same price as the satin NMSFNO's.

I'm not sure why they don't offer it anymore.

I'm just hoping for not too many infi dimples when I strip mine. I want satin and black micarta...

I had no Infi dimples on my NMFBM, It was a very nice supprise. If thats the model your referring to.

The DC is first a satin finish before the bead blast so yes, the price would be about the same.

Also, it would be easy to have the shop do a DC on your existing satin blade.

The DCBB is by far my favorite finish.

IIRC, DC was a $60 option when the ASH1s were available direct - and even after adding Magnum G10 (also $60 IIRC) it's still cheaper than the LE versions by a sizable chunk...
