How come nobody uses the "wanted to buy" area on Bladeforums

Just curious why I am the ONLY person posting on the "wanted to buy" tab in the Knife Exchange forum? Since I am the only one posting there in the past several years, I am assuming nobody really sees my wanted listings. Is there another place on the forum that DOES get some exposure? (for EDC whittler/swayback slipjoints in my case)
 
Since you aren't a paying member, you can only post there and not see the other posts.
By doing this, the forum allows you to buy what You are looking for but not sell directly to someone who wants a knife you may have. Selling is restricted to Gold or higher memberships.

This in essence lowers the amount of people making money from here without supporting the forum.

Let me assure you, there are plenty of other posts there.
 
They are there, and there could be someone that's has exactly what you're looking for.
Consider buying a membership, as it's well worth it, IMO. Helps the member, and the site.

I thought it was really strange and couldn't figure out why I was the only one. Makes perfect sense, and embarrassed that I didn't put that together on my own. Live and learn!
 
I post there fairly regularly, check it often and have had very good success in filling my wants. Some that I didn't think there was even a chance.

Any member can post a thread there, and you can see threads you start. But only those who have sufficient membership rights to sell can see other people's threads there. Takes a Gold or better.
