how comfortable is the scotch dispenser?

That's not really answerable; some people love the SD, others absolutely hate it. Its handle's size and shape make the size of your hands and fingers much more crucial than most designs. Personally, I wouldn't consider buying a SD unless I'd held one first.

i find all skeleton handled knives to be moderately comfortable at best.

i had a skelly warden that i cord wrapped, and was pretty cofortable, but didn't bother keeping it because all the other gw's that i have are way more comfortable to hold and use.

the sd is odd looking to be sure, but there are many here that like them plenty and find them comfortable to use.

I'm not a fan of the SD at all. I can't find a comfortable grip on mine, no matter how hard I try. I'll hold on to it, though, because it is an interesting conversation piece.

The question is, what is the intended use of these SDs ?

Looks like some sort of CQC blade or something..

I liked the idea, but felt that it needed a much shorter blade to "work" for me and be a keeper. I sold mine pretty quick, but if your considering one, I'd buy it and try it.

I laid it down on a GW and its the same blade. appears to me

with skeletor handle

it throws well and is a decent neck knife. However, I have to sand the butt because its sharp now due to throwing

i think it was just a fluke happening where jerry was holding a scotch tape dispenser and decided to make a knife out of it. as to what "intended use" was then prescribed to it, only jerry knows :)

KH is spot on about the blade length. I thought I recognized that blade, when I held it, only I didn't have a GW to compare it to at the time. For me personally, I prefer the Skeleton Warden or the Swamp Warden in this size range as it gives you a little more handle. However, I'm still considering rebuying teh SD and having Ban cut it down to size (ala AS). I try not to rebuy, but...
