How common is the BK-2 Champion box?

On to my question. My KA-BAR BK-2's box is labeled "CHAMPION". Was this a common label? I assume it was an error, but you know about assuming.

did you buy it brand new? second hand? when? details?

Brand new when KaBar first began producing them. Not troubling, simply an oddity. I remember many an auction stating "Champion", web stores too. I had actually wondered if the name had been changed, which I thought extremely unlikely, except KaBar's site still called it the Campanion.

So, to restate the question... I'm just curious how many other people have boxes labeled "BK-2 Champion"? I know others exist, just wonder how many. I'll try to post a pic tonight.

I can't remember threw the box in the fire after I got it figured I'd never need it. I was so anxious to get the knife out I can't remember anything about the box and I got the knife like 2 months ago.
