If spyderco made a custom delica or endura line. I wonder if it's cheaper to make them in a white scaled version and have us custom color them. Include enough rit dye and instructions. Maybe red, blue, green, etc. dye and we can customize the knife.

i was just about to make a similar post. Letting me get their cpm m4 in a endura or delica would be supreme but the main thing is i just want to pick different color handles. all the frn hanldes will fit all the blades aside from the hollow ground (though a hollow ground frn sounds like perfection to me). it shouldnt cost that much extra, since all the frn delica parts are interchangable. just different color frn. you could even have different color scales on one knife.

and one thing i would really like to see is a tye-dye frn but i dont even know if thats possible.

Now that Spyderco is producing FFG versions of the Delica and Endura, they might consider doing white FRN again for those who want to color them and those who just like white and missed the saber ground Sprint. OTOH, I doubt we'll ever see CPM M-4, or any other non-Japanese steel, on them as the Japanese seem to take offense at being asked to use foreign steel.

Well the way I see it is they work for Spyderco and Sal runs said company so he doesn't have to "ask" them anything. Just tell them their using M4.

Couldn't they just ship the white FRN and hardware from Japan, and use the metal and machinery in Golden to produce the customs? Sure it would cost more that way, but everyone loves Enduras and Delicas so people would pay it.

Good insight, my logic can agree to that

They need to add a choil to the Endura/Delica line.. I like to be able to "get up on it".

I doubt we'll ever see a custom line for either model. They're the basics of the line. Maybe white again but I doubt there would be a custom option deal. As for a choil, after having a Meadowlark and Meadowlark 2, I prefer my Delica sans choil.
But that's why they make so many different models. We all like something a little different.

Make your own. All the parts are interchangeable. I like to put ZDP-189 blades into G-10 Endura handles.
