I think od green would be awesome. So much so that I'm posting this to see if anyone has an answer...It would be bleedin awesome to get ka-bar to do that on request.

Maybe your local garage/autoshop does powder coating?

My bro got his single speed push-iron shot blasted and powder coated for £25/$40.

Duracoat, powder coating, or you could try that new hydrodip thing. Check it out. They do it on all sorts of things. From motorcycles to AR15's.

I've used CeraKote air-dry and oven-cure on some gun parts. I really like the oven-cure better, but it's a simple process that turns out good results at home.

Powder coat scratches off really fast, IMO.

sweet, good question, I'm thinking about cerakoting my bk2. didn't know you could do it at home.

OD flat krylon then bake at 300 for 45 minutes to cure it -- gunsmith buddy of mine calls this "hobo duracoat"

Thanks guys for the heads up on that..eventually I will go ahead and buy all of the master series when I can afford it.
