I've owned several CRKs for a while now and It's hard to say anything about them that hasn't already been said. My most favorite was an old 21 without the idaho made stamp in s30v. That was also the only knife that has ever been stolen from me. When I realized it was gone it really broke my heart. The other CRKs I have are great but they're just sitting in the safe and every time I take them out to play with them I miss the one that was stolen.

Fast forward to last week, guy comes into the knife shop where I work with a bunch of consignment stuff. In the pile of boxes I see a CRK box. It's a large 21 insingo and he wants a great price for it. It's the perfect replacement for my lost knife (this one does have the stamp and its in s35vn, but whatcha gonna do) My only issue with it is that its got a single stud. So I buy it and immediately pop over to the ups store to fire it off to CRK to have double studs installed.

I checked the tracking number UPS gave me on saturday. Hoping the knife got there friday, but the ups website says CRK was closed on friday and they'll try to deliver it again on the next business day. Womp womp.

So I get home from work today and I check the tracking number again. Boom! Delivered. Sweet. Now I know they have it and can just chill for the next week or two It'll take the service department to work on it.

Not ten minutes goes by and my phone starts ringing.

me: "hello?"
Lovely crk lady: "hi, this is CRK. We've got your sebenza here all finished up and if you'd like to give me your payment info I can get this sent back out to you tomorrow"
me: "SHUT UP!! You guys just got it in today!!!"
Her: "Yup, we like to be able to pleasantly surprise our customers when we can."

So she got my cc number and I'm getting my Sebenza back in 5 business days. Hoooolllyyyyy crap. Less than one day turn around. Talk about being pleasantly surprised. I've always loved my CRK knives, but after this experience, it's gone to a whole new level.

That's awesome! I always like to hear the good customer service stories. I have been thinking for months now that I need to send mine in for dbl lugs.

Sorry your knife was stolen, that really sucks. Best of luck with your new one!

CRK's service is as good as their knives: 100%. When I lost a screw from my Sebbie (my fault) it was replaced as quickly as anyone could ask, at no charge. BTW, I actually like the IDAHO stamp.

That is amazing service! I am sorry that your Sebenza got stolen. I DO hope you enjoy your new one.
