How did you fix your Voyager handles for pocket wear?

I got my large clip point voyager. Love the knife, hate the ridiculously aggressive portion under the clip. Looking for tips or tricks to make it wearable.

Take off the clip. Put a small round ball grinding stone into your hand drill. Zip the contact area under the clip. I did this with all my Voyagers. It was fast and easy.

North's idea is probably best, however, another option is to put a drop of gorilla glue on the mark and sand it flat.

JB Weld the area, sand to 200 grit, krylon in as many coats as you want. Bend and round the clip, reinstall.
Time: two or three hours (outside dry time for the Weld and Krylon)
Cost: negligible.
Ease of draw: greatly improved.

Sounds like a lot of work for a simple problem.

For Voyager or other polymer handles I just lift the clip slightly, no problems with wear after that. Go slow as to not lift to much, takes maybe a couple minutes to get it were you want it.

For their G10 handles, I take the clip off and sand the entire area under and slightly in front on the pocket clip contact area. I use wet dry sandpaper with a little water to prevent any dust, works great. Done in under 10 minutes and that includes remove and replacing any body screws in the way and cleaning the knife afterwards of any G10 'sludge' from sanding.

I ended up taking my dremel and buffing the portion under the clip slightly. I taped it off before removing the clip. I then bent the clip and replaced it. Took a few tries to get the bend just right. It wasn't a lot of trouble. I really like the knife, but it would be nice to not have to modify a new knife to make it carryable.
