How different would making steel blanks be?

I'm talking about the SxxV series, cause they have the best gradation of composition. So vanadium and maybe chromium and tungsten content go up with the middle number. Thing is, we're talking 0.1% point differences here, that probably cost next to nothing. Granted that a harder, tougher steel takes longer to roll, harder to anneal, and harder to machine and grind.

But do they justify the price difference between an S30V and an S90V of the same knife model?

Same question about the Aogami series, and maybe the M-series.
