So last winter I purchased some knife blanks and attached handles to them. I made about or so. As I got experiance I got a little better.
This one came out pretty good.
So as the weather cools I am ready to get back in the shed and do some more knives. Right now I am much better at working with wood than metal. So I not wanting to forge just yet.
Here is my question for today. I purchased a folder. It will be the first one for me. I am not sure how to attach scales to this knife. I haven't been able to find a video.
Can I just rough up the handle and epoxy the scales straight on there or do I have to have pins for strength. Can I just use regular pins and be sure and sink them to the proper depth?
Looking for some ideas.
