Do they ask you to pay for shipping cost or are there some external contractors that can handle the work for them in Europe ?

Shipping cost from Europe to the US can be really - really - really expensive.

I'll one up you.. Send a 0450cf in to kai 2 months ago. It arrived, they put a new blade (which I only know about because of cc charges) on that puppy and never got anything back to date. As it stands I'm out eur 260 total. Benchmade was slow but they got the blade back to me although all shipping charges were on me.

Benchmade have been excellent for me as an EU customer, beyond brilliant. Never had to contact ESEE as their knives are fairly, erm, robust. However, go on the ESEE website, join their forum and ask away.

I did as some of you said. Esee answered me quickly about it, they also have a contractor that handle warranty inqueries for them in Europe. That's cool, because shipping to the US is damn expensive, sometimes as expensive as buying a new knife.

So you're from the EU Pilsner ? Uk ?

I asked them how to obtain a deep carry clip for my Grizzly Ridge.
...
A month later, after no response, I asked again and they sent me two for free (a black and a plain one)

Edit - I am talking about Benchmade, obviously

Yeah, UK, good to hear about ESEE - just in case I manage to break the damn thing! ;)
