How do Gurks maintain their khuks in battlefield?

We are blessed with all the khuk maintenance needies around; Sharpmaker, mineral oil, BLO, hoof-flex and tec.

But what about Gurkhas deployed to the field? How do they maintain their best weapons?

Any experiences to share?

Looks like the scabbard for his SA-80's bayonet. I believe the scabbard has a built-in sharpener, but don't quote me...

You could see the khuks are well-used.
The point is blunt.

I remember the old metal sheath for bayonets had a rough/sanded area where soldiers can sharpen it.
