How do I add photos to a thread?

I would like to know how to add photos to a thread on the forum. It tells me to type in a url when I click the add photo icon, it doesn't allow me to search for them on my computer or drag copy and paste them either. I don't understand the system on the forum. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.
 
As a registered user you have to use something like photobucket, imgur..... Upload photo to host site of your choice, copy the IMG and paste it in thread.
 
The only way to add photos from your computer/smart phone is to have a paid membership I believe. When I had a registered membership, I also has a photobucket account. If I wanted to post a picture I had to:
-log into photobucket
- select the photo icon on bladeforums
- go back to photobucket and click the photo/IMG code I wanted and copy&paste the code
- go back to bladeforums and paste the IMG code in the text bar

The photo will not show up until you "submit reply" or "submit post".

Or go the easy route and get a gold membership so you can click the photo icon and then "browse existing photos" on your device and select an existing image. Doing it this way bypasses all IMG codes and does away with a photo hosting site.
